I have made a mistake recently in reporting our club riders who are going to Nationals. Jack Evans, JT and Roger Whitlock, you all know about already. But we also have Mr. Frank Corrnet, from London, Kentucky who will be riding in the National Championships for Cumberland Cycles! Frank in one fellow who might actually pull off a top ten placing for our club.
I am personally very proud to have Frank riding for us at the National Time Trial. I am so sorry to Frank that I did not include him in my earlier transmissions.
CLUB FRIENDS
Mr. Robert Brooks is a long time friend of Wally and Jonathon Thompson. Bob is a friend of Cumberland Cycles and is the cycling coach to Aaron and Jenny Denney. Even though Bob is in his 40's, he races in the pro, 1,2 categories, and at McCormick's Creek (Indiana) this past Sunday, Bob finished 8th over all. Remember, Bob is in his 40's but raced in the 1,2,3 cat's and placed 8th. This is an outstanding result.
