Series Race #2 - today

Adam Bourne with Great Position before he flatted!

The Kentucky/Indiana Spring Series Race #2 was attended by several Cumberland Cycles Race Team members and Crew Support today. Adam Bourne, Aaron Denney, JT, Jack Evans, and Charles Senters all participated in the Boonesboro Criterium today, even though the conditions were pretty yucky!  Also attending the race in mechanical support were Brad Herrman and in moral support, Mrs. Kim Cleberg.

Adam gets the award for the most bad luck, entering, flatting tires in and abandoning both races.   JT finished 8th in a main field finish in the masters 30+ race, Charles and Aaron duked it out for 8th and 9th in a spilt-off pack (1st and 2nd in the split-off pack) and Jack Evans got 17th. Aaron, Jack and Charles raced in the CAT 4/5 fields.

Even though Adam flatted out of both the masters 30+ and the CAT 4/5 races, he was in very good position to place very highly in the 4/5 race which makes his flat tire very disappointing!!!
