A NOTE FROM OUR USCS/USA CYCLING REFEREE REGARDING THE SPRING TRAINING SERIES

As most of you know March 3rd is the first race of the season in Kentuckiana. Information can be found at http://www.kyanaseries.com.

The series will consist of 7 events this year with a total prize list of $4450 in cash. This
does not count the overall which is based on the total amount of riders in the series plus
added cash from the presenting sponsor Apex Physical Therapy. http://
www.apexptky.com/

Several new courses and races will debut this year:
Team Bolla has a new road course in Henryville, IN described as a 9 mile loop with gently rolling terrain. If you have Google Earth, download the .kmz file from the series website and do a fly through.

New promoter Lindsey Wilson College will promote the Green River Road Race in
Columbia, KY. The 25 mile loop is one that has been used in the past for NCCA Collegiate events. (Juniors: Lindsey Wilson College has a cycling scholarship program) NOTE: Columbia, KY is on Central Time.

The Louisville Firefighters Team will put on the Iroquois Park Circuit Race using the bottom loop of the park.

The Navy Week Criterium will have a $1500 prize list and is of course sponsored by the US Navy and promoted by the Papa John's team.

Points: All 7 events will count towards the series overall. Lexington will be double points.

IF YOU HAVE NOT PURCHASED YOUR LICENSE DO IT NOW!
You must present a valid 2007 USCF license at registration to enter any race. If you are a Cat 1,2,3, Master and do not have your license you will be required to buy one before you can race. It's easy to do online and you can get a receipt for those of you who will wait until the last minute to purchase one.

Only Category 5 Men and Category 4 Women who do not have a valid racing license may purchase a one-day license for $10.00 at registration.

All the promoters of the series highly suggest that you REGISTER ONLINE. Preregistration takes the stress out of raceday for both the promoter and you the rider. We can preassign your number and have your release ready to sign.

All riders will keep their numbers through out the series but will be required to sign a
release at each event and of course pay entry fees. If you lose your number, you will have to purchase a new one for $10.00.

To promote good will in the respective communities, $1.00 of your entry fee will be given
to a local charity.
