Crew News

Hello  Everybody,

With the series race yesterday (March 8) postponed until April, Jay, JT, Jack, Aaron, and Jenny drove down to Knoxville today to do the Maryville Criterium.  Jay and Aaron raced in the general Category 5 field, Jack raced in the 50+, Jenny raced open women's (categories 1-4) and JT raced 30+ (Pro, 1-4)

The course was short and very fast!  Our highest placing rider was Jack Evans who got 11 in his event and 9th in his age!  This is outstanding considering that Jack has only been back out on the road for a week after his shoulder surgery.  Makes me think that maybe I should get me a surgery!

Everybody had a good time and it was nice to be around a criterium and watch all the racing.

NEXT ROAD EVENT LESS THAN AN HOUR FROM HOME

The Road Crew's next race will be this Saturday, March 15 just up the road near Richmond, Kentucky.... a Series race.  Here is the flyer!  It will be a great event to come and watch!

Fort Boonesborough Criterium

Every other Tuesday will be "race simulation" for the road team and road hopefuls.  We are in the process of locating a remote, short circuit (a mile or less) course to conduct one hour race simulations on.  These rides will be open to anybody who wants to give it a try.  If you get dropped, then you only have to pedal less than a mile back to your car.You can keep coming back until you don't get dropped anymore.  Stay tuned on this.

BARNSBURG TIME TRIAL EVENT #2

Realizing that this is Easter Sunday, we will hold the second Barnsburg Time Trial event on March 23 for anybody who wants to come out and post a time.  You do not have to be a racer to post a time. This event is open to anybody who would like to see how fast they can cover an eight mile course. First rider is off at exactly 2 PM and one rider will leave the start area every minute.
