G. Turner Howard III of Knox Velo's Melting Pot squad placed 6th in the TT out of 65 competitors in 27:20 for the 20K course and was the first American. To give an idea of how competitive Worlds are, Turner's National 20K TT (which he won the Gold medal in July) would have placed him 19th.
